Mythic Grand Gaube - Mauritius

Mythic Grand Gaube - Picto

Located in the southern hemisphere, Mauritius enjoys a temperate tropical climate thanks to the Indian Ocean. Outdoor activities can be enjoyed all year long. The two seasons are opposite to those in Europe. The climate is pleasant all year round, be it for the outside temperature or water temperature!

– Austral summer: from November to April, is hot and humid with temperatures ranging between 27 °C and 33 °C. Summer is the best season for deep sea fishing (from September to May) and diving (February and March).
– Austral winter: from May to October is cooler and drier. Temperatures range between 20 °C to 25 °C. It is the ideal season for surfing.

The northern coast enjoys a drier and hotter climate than any other region of the island. It is also sheltered from the trade winds; those cool winds which regularly blow on the eastern and south-eastern coasts during austral winter.
