Every week, there are 574 international flights and 21 domestic flights to the Mascarenhas Archipelago’s islands. At the airport, one can easily find a rental car or a taxi.

Road conditions are good and a free motorway runs from the airport to Grand Bay, going through Port Louis and Pamplemousses. Please note that Mauritius is a left-hand-drive country!

A number of public hospitals and dispensaries provide free access to health care and medicines. There are also private clinics.
In Mauritius, you will find the same brands as in Europe, be it for foodstuff or clothing. The leading international brands, in particular clothing, are available in the shopping malls of major cities. And even though one can do his/her shopping in hypermarkets such as Super U, running errands at the local markets and stalls can be a pleasurable experience.
